K.I.D HELLCAT has overcome nearly impossible odds to emerge as one of the brightest young talents in modern hip-hop. A native of Utica, NY, his brutally honest lyricism and dynamic performance style have endeared him to a rapidly growing fanbase. Now, as he prepares the release of his most compelling music to date, he is poised to take his rightful place at the top of the hip-hop world.

Born Larry Cozart III, K.I.D was raised in Buffalo by his grandmother. Growing up surrounded by poverty and drugs, not to mention the lack of his parents, his prospects as a young man seemed dim. Music, however, gave him an opportunity to express himself. It quickly became apparent that K.I.D HELLCAT was an artist capable of putting his community’s feelings into words.

At only sixteen, he released his first single, ‘Welfare Baby.’ The track immediately gained traction on the local scene. Having established himself as one of the best in Buffalo, he dedicated himself to his craft to prove he was worthy of national attention. His efforts were rewarded with the viral hit ‘Bad Year,’ which was received major attention from press and fans alike.

After the lockdown of 2020, he emerged as a more confident and mature artist. Having spent the year on the sideline, he is now eager to return to the spotlight with the best tracks of his young career.
