Ayomide Anota (born 16th July 2000), known professionally as KIDA OJ (Also known as POPBOY, THAT KID AYO JAY) is a Nigerian song writer, singer and rapper born in the Capital city of Abuja, but originally from Ondo state, Nigeria.
He started singing as early as 9, grew up singing, dancing and rapping in secondary school. He’s a graduate of Mass Communication, bagged his degree at ECOTES University. He formed a rap group called “THE POPBOYS” and began recording as early as 14 and was also singing in church at the same time, he’s the first son of 4. He grew up listening to a lot of Dancehall/Reggae music, afrobeats and rap. He’s diversed in his sound, it’s a mixture of Afrobeat, pop, trap and dancehall.
