Kier (or Morten Kjær) is a Danish singer, songwriter, and producer. Born in rural Denmark, he started writing songs as a pre-teen. At 22, his a cappella band went platinum with their debut album "The Grass" following a performance in the Danish pre-competition of the Eurovision Song Contest. Morten went solo and released his personal debut in 2008. In 2010, he relocated to Los Angeles and put out a row of English language records under his artist name Kier. He also formed the band Ebb & Flow with good friends, Gabby Gordon and Ronen Gordon, and has toured extensively with the trio as well as put out several albums. Since 2018, Morten Kjær is again living in Copenhagen, Denmark.
