Killed by Kiwis is a hard rock band based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Taking inspirations from garage rock, synthwave, pop punk, and psychedelia, Killed by Kiwis forges a sound that frequently crosses genres and themes. Their music utilizes a hard hitting rhythm section, dazzling synths, and soaring vocals to produce a powerful wall of sound. Killed by Kiwis was formed in the BOH of a now defunct wine bar in South Minneapolis. The band consists of high school friends Annie Thoma (vocals), Eli Haugland (synthesizer), Frankie Carlson (guitar/backup vocals), Griffin Baumann (guitar), Quinn Siebers (drums/production), and Matt Healy (bass).
