Kilometro1 is a rock and heavy metal band with symphonic overtones made up of Lily Kerrigan and Alwin Rooijackers, originally from the city of Puebla, Mexico.
The lyrics of their music collect different topics of popular interest, historical, war and sometimes controversial aspects, since they have touched on religious and social issues as well as on emotions, human conscience and some current events.
Since most of the songs are in English and Spanish, it is possible to find songs in some other languages such as Dutch, German and Japanese, although some phrases and words have also been used in Old Norse, Nahuatl, Hebrew, Irish Gaelic and Scottish Gaelic.
Although they have been active since 2011, their first original material arrived in 2017, an album known as Sobreviviente (Survivor), followed by Renacer (Reborn) in 2019, The Final Legend in 2020 and it is expected that Overloaded Brain will be released by the end of 2025.
