Kimz Miyagi

Born and raised in Krugersdorp, West of Johannesburg, street-sensation singer/songwriter and producer <a href="spotify:artist:6H49vzOe30YfstsdnWqn8S" data-name="Kimz Miyagi">Kimz Miyagi</a> has been on a steady rise ever since the 2020 release of his debut single, “<a href="spotify:track:3y3HEaGDH9zEAAVVxSUmwy" data-name="Summer Time Vibe">Summer Time Vibe</a>.” In the past years alone, he has managed to climb up the industry ladder with his whimsical lyrics and melodies; seen his music featured in a slew of film and television soundtracks, Miyagi is seen to be the most anticipated artist in West Rand.

Popularly known for his rapping style, he sees no limit in shaping his brand into becoming a household name; by the use of his versatile language and writing skill, Miyagi has managed to capture the ears and hearts of music lovers. Be it Hip-Hop, Afrobeat, Amapiano, Kwaito, House, etc, with his energy behind the mic, or even on the production desk, he aims to leave an everlasting impression.

Miyagi&#39;s debut single was possible thanks to <a href="spotify:artist:4ypngRJIStv5HCN0H2KEFB" data-name="MOREKI">MOREKI</a> of <a href="spotify:artist:1OTxoNGc0Y77sCRy43YUKG" data-name="BlackSounds">BlackSounds</a>, and led him to take interest in the South African music culture. Making his music more &#34;rooted&#34; he realized that wanting to sound American was derailing his sound and hindering his authenticity. Which is why he had projected that his first body-of-work/EP would be an Amapiano project, titled &#34;Tsa Jumpas&#34;, but due to circumstances the project could not be published in 2022.

Since the beginning of 2023, Miyagi has been working on new music and non-expected from his fans and listeners, a sound that will leave everyone dancing and singing to the tunes of his essence.
