Kine Kvalstad is a singer songwriter from Namsos, Norway.
Kine has always loved writing and making music, but it wasn´t until 2013 she released her first solo project, in cooperation with producers Askil Holm, Olav & Lars Tronsmoen and guitarist Kristoffer Finnanger Lysgaard.
The full-length album Melencolia, is a personal story from her life in the Scottish Highlands and inspired by people in her own life. The album was released 12 October 2013 and can be bought or streamed from channels worldwide. Two singels where released previous to album release and have been listed and played on Norwegian radio and Antena1, Mexico, "We are Stardust" and "Perfect Alchemy"
Since then more music and collaborations has followed. 2019 she released the singel Caveman and Blue. Next. On february 27th 2020, the 5 minute long «Windwashed» was released and another single in Norwegian in collaboratin with a rock band from Namsos: Grannes named Langt utti fjor'n for summer 2025.
