Hailing from the Bay Area, King Baby is the son of a preacher and grew up on hip hop and punk rock. He would spend hours hiding out in his dad’s church, learning instruments, and performing alone while pretending there were thousands of people in his audience. He started playing the drums, but quickly picked up the guitar from watching his dad and brother play.
 
To his friends, he is known for his kind and wild heart, and his infamous quote “Don’t act famous.”
