Hailing from South Florida, King Hazo, producer, songwriter and engineer fuses his Hip/Hop, and Reggae/Dancehall Influences into his heavy Trap ballads. Following in his fathers footsteps, but on his own journey , King Hazo Sets out to bring a new sound into Hip-Hop. Putting his personal experiences in his music allows him to reach his audience on a personal level, whether that be about heartbreak and getting over betrayal in songs like “WIDE AWAKE” or getting to the bag in songs like “SWIPIN”.
King Hazo recently released his debut EP “Don’t Call Now It’s Too Late”. Recorded, mixed and mastered by Hazo himself. King Hazo shows off his deep melodic style with his intricate detail to flow and lyrics. A testament to his versatility between subject matters, melodies and lyrics shows his heavy influences from Dancehall Acts like Vybz Kartel and Mavado or Hip/Hop acts like Lil Wayne and Drake. Hazo sets out to make an impact in Hip/Hop fusing the two genres that made him fall in love with music in the first place.
Hazo does feel a strong calling on his life through his music and he plans on acting on this calling by continuing to put his life and real emotion in his music. Songs like “Time” show another side, a deeper more methodical side to Hazo’s music where he talks on social injustices in our black communities and his point of view through his lenses as an artist , so join him on this journey of self realization and growth. Oh yeah and we gonna turn up too !
