Championed by fellow rapper & Youtuber Yungeen Ace, King Kaiser always had an affinity for music and entertainment. Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, King began shooting and editing music videos in high school. What started out as a hobby gave King the tools to create YouTube videos with his partner Nique which quickly caught the attention of millions of fans. Together the couple moved to Houston, Texas in 2018 where they continued to create content and grow their individual and joint viral following. With over 2.63 million subscribers on his joint channel with Nique, the two are nothing short of a power couple. In February of 2019, King and Nique released their first collaborative song and music video called “Qwazy Love” which garnered over 4 million views.
Although King introduced himself to the world as a YouTuber, music was always on his mind. As a teenager King experimented with free-styling, but quickly learned the power of writing. King cites Drake as his biggest musical influence and his sound ranges from trap to melodic rap. His style of melodic rap showcases his ability to smoothly transition between straight bars and singing. In 2018 King released a music video for “Switch It Up” which accumulated over 1.3 million views. Following the release of his 2019 debut singles, “Boss Up” and “King Me,” King released his first EP in 2020 titled B4 I Get Started. B4 I Get Started boasts features with Kash Korleone on “Big Bank” and Yungeen Ace on “OTM.”
