King Karlemagne

Karl A. Talla Demgueu, also known by his stage name King Karlemagne, is an American music artist, author, entrepreneur, film and television producer. He was born in Douala, Cameroon on June 4th, 1991 and immigrated to the United States with his family when he was only nine years old; where he discovered Hip-Hop music.

Hip-Hop became one of the few things he had in common with his classmates. Soon he made a name for himself by participating in rap battles in the school cafeteria. He officially began to pursue a career as a rapper with his 2010 mixtape debut entitled, "And So A Journey Began...". He then went on release 2013's "Foreign Exchanged", and his streaming platform debut "Foreign Exchanged 2: The Voyage to Freedom" in 2017.

After seeing little success in music, Talla worked as an ESL teacher in China for some time. He eventually returned to his birthplace of Cameroon, where he began working with a non profit called the ADO Foundation.

In 2020 he published a memoire entitled "Once upon A Time America: The True Tale of an Immigrant". Talla is the founder of Nomad Est. 2000, a multi national advertisement agency, record label, and film production company. His latest album entitled, "Kamericano: The Legend of the Invincible Karl Talla", was released in 2023.
