When King Kross is performing live the band makes an effort to give the audience a royal experience. ‘If you dare to let go, listen and pay attention you can expect something out of the ordinary. The band will go a long way for you. We will venture into the world like the kings of old did and make sure your voices will be heard,” he says and continues: “In this universe the power is all yours. Outside small kings and people from the upper class dictate how you are supposed to act and they look down on you. Out there you may feel like a slave. In the world of King Kross you are allowed to be you, also if that means being anonymous.”
Usually the band performs behind masks and with back light so they appear as silhouettes. A lot of their audience has taken on the role of being anonymous and show up to the concert either masked or with their faces covered by bandanas.
“We think our names are irrelevant here. It’s is not about us. It’s about the feeling we create together. It’s about the people who show up. King Kross is a feeling, it’s not a single person. I may be him in physical form, but we are all him. We are all King Kross.”
