King Lai is an Asian-American rapper, songwriter, and entrepreneur. He is best known for winning "2023 Song of the Year" and "2024 Artist of the Year" at the Chintube People's Choice Awards, as well as for winning "2024 Collaboration of the Year" at the ChinTV International Awards.
King Lai was born in the small village of Hniarlawn in Chin State, Myanmar. In pursuit of a better life, his family moved to the U.S. in 2008, where he later started a real estate investment company operating in both Illinois and Iowa. Thanks to these investments, King Lai was able to dive into the music industry in the summer of 2021. A few months later, he was nominated for "New Artist of the Year" at the People's Choice Awards hosted by Chintube in Indianapolis, IN. Since then, King Lai has received countless nominations, broken numerous records within the Chin music industry, completed several international tours, and won many awards for his contributions to music.
