Born in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. Kendrick, better known as King Lil One started rapping at an young age. Raised in Broward County Florida by a single mother of five, Lil One found peace within music. He began writing music at the age of 9 and recorded his first record at the age of 12 while in a group with his four brothers (Young -N- Wild). The youngest of five, King completed high school, then went on to do three semesters in college but ended up dropping out. Now 26, King has four children which motivated to him to be more than just a father, but a leader.
King is on the pursuit to make a mark in the Hip Hop industry with a diverse approach to each record. In 2012, he released his first industry beat mixtape "Killin' Spree" which started a new saga. King released a series of mixtapes between 2013-2015, including a notable mixtape titled "Tha Carter VII".
In mid 2015, King served a year in a Broward County jail where he had time to focus on his artistry and craft. In 2016, King released his highly anticipated mixtape "9Side".
Presently, King has progressed drastically as an independent artist. Working on his 1th album titled "Peanut" (2017). King looks to take the industry by storm working with producers NinetyFour Beats, 12:30 Beatz, H3ro Beats and many more.
