It was never a question of IF King Naj would touch a stage or a microphone. The question has always been WHEN? Since an adolescent growing up between NY, VA and South Carolina... Najee Browman was destined to. Growing up with a mother who performed in Jazz clubs and an artist in her own right, King Naj was carefully honing his talents. His rhymes are braggadocious yet self aware. Chest caving punchlines combined with thought provoking wit who's found his groove in the new LoFi sub genre of Hip Hop.
When discharged from the Marine Corps in 2013, King Naj released his debut album, "Inspired by Actual Events". He would step away from recording full time but soon found the inspiration to release "While You Wait", an EP of songs he worked on over the years finding his way. By moving to Seattle, dropping new music & now starting a label, Blue Ribbon 843 with his best friend. King Naj aims to usher Hip-Hop into a new era with his upcoming EP, "When I Was Nyce" while preparing his next album.
With a renewed spirit and focused vision, the sky isn't the limit for King Naj...
It's only a view.
