After playing together for years in the bands Five Stars For Failure and Fighter Hayabusa, members Justin and Matt moved apart and spent many more years playing in a number of other projects. While Justin remained in the Philadelphia area and spent time in the bands Inkling, The Minor Times, and Hostages, Matt moved to Athens, GA and played with Nationale before moving to Australia and playing in Quinnipiac. Once Matt returned to the area, the two started making music together again and wrote their 2017 three song self-released demo before enlisting two more members: Jeremy (formerly of Michigan's The Sea, The Sea) and TJ (of Carved Up).
