King Theory is an alt-rock band with a little something for everyone. Formed in the Edmonton, Alberta area, King Theory produces a range of sounds like music from The Killers and Muse to Audioslave and Three Days Grace. Frontman Evan Yardley has honed his voice since childhood, delivering thoughtful, passionate lyrics that can lull you to sleep or shake you to your core. Bassist Justin Cruse has developed an undeniable stage presence through years of performing and crafts thick, groovy bass lines that provide a powerful foundation for King Theory’s sound. Guitarist Ryan Quick creates riffs that nobody else would think of, adding truly unique tones and textures to the mix. Drummer Aaron Passek, trained in music at MacEwan University, showcases his skill through a confident balance of simplicity and intricacy—applied exactly when each is due. With their distinctive blend of styles, King Theory delivers a performance that will make you want to sing, sway, and bang your head.
