King Tune

King Tune Born Mfundo Mbhele on April 22 1999 in KwaZulu-Natal Newcastle. His love for music began in High school rap battles and then became a recording artist shortly after.

His style mixes new wave trap influences with aspects from old skool rap, RnB and afro pop.
King Tune relocated to Gauteng Midrand to study Business Management at Unisa main campus. He and his childhood friend started a clothing line Friends & Bands, and shortly after started hosting events.

King Tune was a dancer, a drawer and a sport fanatic which led to talent development in the youth of the community through Friends & Bands events.

Every year he is a headline act on one of the biggest events in Newcastle, Summer Festival where he previously shared a stage with Nasty C, A-reece, Kid X, Mampintsha, Moonchild etc. He has also worked with Dj Nastor (winner of 1's and 2's on SABC 1) in production.
He worked on a EP (God Given EP) with his childhood friend Rey Oceans and dropped a single Dope Bitch. They also dropped singles from the Album: Lobolo, Malume, Party and had a tours in high schools in their home town.
