Kingna Scott

Hey, it's me. I have a great sense of humor, it’s hard to turn it off! Kingna (pronounced King-na, simple). I'm a country girl from the hood, who now resides out the Beach. Long rollercoaster, drawn-out story that I'll put in some songs. Anyways, the way I make music is through what ppl call "moods" now. So, when something puts me in a mood I hear a soundtrack in my head, then I begin the process of getting it out of my head, and into a musical form. I grew up listening to everything...and I mean EVERYTHING, so sometimes I feel jazzy, while other times I feel hip-hop, or rock. They used to call me Polly when I was a kid, as in the parrot, because I would mimic songs, cartoons, commercials, you name it. One day, this bully said "You a parrot! You can't sing! You don't have your own voice!" I was only 9, but it pissed me off, so I wrote my first song that day. I sang it for some classmates at playtime, and they said I was lying; that I stole the song from somewhere. That's when I knew I was good enough to keep going! Here I am today; I just keep going. Currently, I'm working on some fire-fire. I'm not out there like that yet, (the COVID ripped my plan a part a couple years ago) but I've been collaborating with some really talented artists and industry producers, and the music to come will be my best yet! I'm excited. Let your own mind and body recognize the feeling from my music, & go with it. Get into it.
