Kioshemi, also known as Johan Nunez, is a artist based in San Jose, California. He started writing songs when he was just 9 years old. Being around his grandfather got Kioshemi introduced to music at an early age. Kioshemi's musical sound was developed as a result of the difficulties he has faced since he was a child. He writes about his past, how he feels at particular times, and incorporates all of these feelings into each of his songs while also striving to do better in any way he can. Knowing that other people experience similar challenges and emotions, the music has always been there for him.
