Kirbie

Kirbie is a singer and songwriter based in North London. Her expressive story-telling and folky harmonies create a pure and original sound.


Born in Swindon to working class parents, Kirbie began her creative journey by performing on-stage musicals and taking weekly singing lessons before finding her own magical kingdom of songwriting.

In 2021, after being deeply affected by the tragic events surrounding Sarah Everards death, she wrote ‘Tulips’; a touching and thoughtful piece that brings to the forefront issues such as the abuse of power and lack of safety that women face every day. The song was recorded at home and released into the world later that year as a demo.

In early 2022, she took songs written over the previous 18 months, and pieced together the first ideas for a 5 track EP. The songs were recorded with producer Jules Konieczny (of APRE success) at his home studio in West London.

After the release of her debut EP in August 2022, Kirbie has lots more in store for the world to hear. While continuing to create exciting and captivating music, alongside her partner Freddie Walker (instrumentalist, songwriter and co-producer), Kirbie is looking to collaborate with other Indie Pop/Folk artists in the UK and globally.

Influenced by artists such as Clairo, Half Moon Run, Billie Eilish and The Beatles; Kirbie looks to put her own stamp on the world.
