KIRIL, songwriter and author, intends to make music of eldritch weight. Sourcing from North Carolina, he works in Church-Ministry so as to benefit other's in matters of spiritual importance. His music, however, does the opposite. He means to confront his listeners with the questions we wish not to answer.
KIRIL has no influences other than the authors and thinkers within the circle of Ontological Pessimism. Seeing a "gap in the market," he wished to make music for something yet to be widely touched upon. He is influenced farm more by literature than other musicians. Schopenhauer, Ligotti, and Zappfe inspire his work more than any Jovie or Joel.
His name comes from the Russian "Kirilov," translating to "Son of the Lord." An Irony. The Name was used in Dostoyevsky's "The Possessed," wherein the character Kirilov seeks to die for reasons not emotional nor psychological, but merely that it would be better to do so. KIRIL, as shown in his music, considers the same.
In Absurdist Foray Out
Nihil Numb Me, Run me Down
Stare Down Madness, Madness Comes
Eldritch Ozymandias
