Hi mom! Hello stranger! 👋🏼
Kite Carrier is a genre-crossing solo project by me – a humble dude from Finland.
My new tracks 'Conduction' (released June 2024) and 'Sea Turtles' (released March 2024) are now out and more singles are in the offing – followed by an album release later in 2024. My preceding album 'Residue' was released in 2015.
If you scroll through the discography, you'll learn that there's quite a lot of releases – from the 90's!
I made a lot of tunes as a youngster with a tracker method, and rather recently decided to restore/remaster them and release as albums and EP's. Because, why not? The crazy tracker years were between 1993–2001. The next phase in my musical journey from 2002 onwards I call "the lost years" when I made music here and there with different methods but that material was left in the "drawer". Also those releases (eg. Delusion, Places) were remastered and retrospectively released some years ago. So now there is more than 20 albums available for all of you.. 😁
Quantitatively my catalogue leans towards electronic soundscapes, but I identify myself as a musician with eclectic output – consolidating styles and genres. Most of the tracks are instrumental, but the new and future releases will include vocals to an increasing extent.
Other projects:
