Kitt F-C started out as a teenage music producer, working with his friends, wanting to shape the sound of the next generation of New York City musicians. A gifted pianist trained in both classical and jazz, he left NYC to attend a music conservatory in Virginia, but soon realized he would rather write contemporary pop music with splashes from his extensive range of vintage influences. He returned to his Brooklyn home studio where he's been turning his dreams into reality ever since. His sound is a unique blend of pop, classic rock, R&B, funk and hip-hop. As a producer and mix engineer, Kitt F-C has worked with several New York artists, including indie band Nautics, who have earned over 100,000 streams on Spotify alone. In the studio, Kitt F-C is a talented multi-instrumentalist who plays guitar, bass, drums, keyboards and vocals on both his and other artists’ records. He is also an accomplished live performer who has played in countless local bands, and on one occasion, opened for Nels Cline, Sean Lennon and Captain Kirk Douglas in 2018. Kitt's music has been described as "The closest we'll ever get to hearing Prince and Elvis Costello collaborate".
Currently Kitt is a member of a few bands: The aforementioned Nautics, the neo-soul collective Three6Nine, and his ever-changing rock group since high school, The Elements In the Room, as well as frequently collaborating with the likes of rock singer-songwriter Julia Davo and rapper/producer Ishidoe.
