Kiva is an Atlanta-born and Memphis bred R&B Artist who started to have a love of music at the age of three years old. As a toddler, she would dance around to Sade’s music. At 8, she began singing Gospel music, specifically Yolanda Adams and Cece Winans. In her preteen years she started to develop songwriting skills and recording music in her dad’s Memphis Maru home studio. Kiva has had many professional opportunities such as singing to Larry Dodson of The Bar-Kays over the phone at the age of 14, making it into the top 20 of the online reality show competition ‘OnTheSpot’ (a legendary music manager Johnny Wright’s competition to form the next world super group), and working with Grammy nominated singer Toni Braxton’s brother Michael Braxton Jr. The songstress has gained a huge following over the years from her own music and multiple covers that she has posted to her Youtube channel. Her ‘I’m Gone’ lyric video has reached 18K views and her cover of Tamar Braxton’s ‘Love and War’ has 34K views. She’s musically influenced by Sade, Aaliyah, Beyonce, Tamia, Toni Braxton, Keke Wyatt, and Whitney Houston. Kiva made 2021’s Rising Stars to recognize featured in the Source Magazine. Her original Singles ‘Paradise’, ‘Siccud’, ‘Joyful Christmas’, and ‘Are you for me’ feat Brandon Blvd all have earned Kiva a Sync Placement on Bet plus and Bet.
