Atlanta-based R&B singer Kiyana reached Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop singles chart in September 2011 with the aching “Take Me Away,” a track taken from her Confessions of a Virgo mixtape. Reminiscent of material by Kandi and Keyshia Cole, the song samples Luniz's 1995 hit “I Got Five on It” -- which interpolates Club Nouveau's 1987 hit “Why You Treat Me So Bad.” She followed it in 2012 with "No Love" and an early 2013 mixtape release, Confessions of a Virgo 2. ~ Andy Kellman
