Kjahn Powell , who goes by his first name “Kjahn” is a Seattle , MC & Song writer with a surprisingly refreshing way of mixing old school hip hop inspiration with some new school production and energy, making each song familiar but unique and brand new , born and raised I. Seattle Washington kjahn was not only inspired by hip hop but by all music at a very early age listening to everything from Motown Classics and bob Marley and the whalers to Jay-Z , Nas and Big L , kjahn has been making music in the underground Seattle hip hop scene for a few years now , however just releasing his first EP “Grits” featuring production from local Seattle artist “Streets”on all digital platforms in February of 2019 and a recent single insane in November from his upcoming EP “Spent It All” coming into the new new year says he has over 4 projects in the works for 2020
