The first chillout project of the musical multi-talent Marc Larrél, founded in 2008 in the heart of the Ruhr area - in Bochum.
It was born as a consequence of a long lasting love for electronic music and the desire for quieter sounds, this ushering in a new era after many louder eras, which is still growing and thriving today. The music hits the contemporary spirit without submitting to it and touches the senses of many people in a way that is difficult to put into words.

In the years between 2008 and 2020, what belongs together grew together and Klangwald was joined by 1 member - longtime friend and music partner Andy S.
Klangwald combines the strengths of both artists to create a symbiosis of reverb drowned pads and the typical KW plucks, garnished with delay and mostly served on ice!
Despite constantly fresh ideas, the recognition value always remains high, which is very important to the two artists.
