Klara Li is a Swedish-Chinese artist and songwriter. With a love for everything from rock´n´roll to modern pop music, Klara Li has tied together her sound of alternative pop. Putting a big emphasis on her lyrical writing, Klara Li writes songs to create a soundtrack to the experience of reality.
Through heartbreak, self-growth and featherlight happiness, her music aims to reflect the feelings of being.
Growing up on a farm outside Ånge in northern Sweden, Klara Li found her earliest inspiration in boredom and loneliness. She found her passion for songwriting in her early teens and used to write songs every day after school.
Starting high school, Klara Li moved to the city of Sundsvall to study music. There she began to play in bands and performed on the local music scene.
After graduation, Klara Li moved to Berlin. During this time she found a lot of inspiration for the songs that came to be her debut EP. She studied Songwriting at Bimm University and got to know the people together with whom she recorded her music. During her years in Berlin, Klara Li also started a band and played live around the city.
At the moment Klara Li is releasing her debut EP Deflower Me. The songs of the EP represent her musical journey up to this day and intend to bring the listener along on a journey of dreams, adventures and self-reflection.
