Klass Pop was born in mid-2016. Inspired mostly by the music of Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk, New Order, The Human League, Talk Talk, Duran Duran, Camouflage, etc. Klass Pop is classified in the genre Techno Pop in Spanish, with comings and goings between the experimental and dance pop. With the initiative of Hugo Bogarín and Kristalo aka Jonathan Pelozo a new musical project has been formed from a work in DEMO format. Quickly, Anabella Peña joins the main voice in the project, suggesting the need for a powerful, dark but also sweet and modern female voice. She has worked in bands such as LA BRÚJULA of the genre Blues, and now after a few years of rest, she returns to the musical environment but from a genre that identifies her the most, Techno Pop. Hugo Bogarín is a keyboardist and composer, with more than 20 years In the music's world. He is the most experienced of the group and has managed to work on several projects, among the most important is Mozambique. Today he continues with his ominous HB project. Kristalo aka Jonathan Pelozo arranger and remixer who started producing at the end of 2013. Most of his works correspond to remixes for different local bands, such as LIED, MODA ETERNA, ARGLAND, HB, CHRISFELD, PLANETA EXTRAÑO, REFLECTION and KLASS POP. In addition to being with Klass Pop, he is working on a solo job under his nickname KRISTALO. Klass Pop has released several singles and EP to date and is planning to release its first LP from the second half of 2020.
