Klawo is a seven-piece funk-soul act from Gdansk, Poland, formed in mid 2020. They bravely blend the sounds of the 1970s with contemporary post-dilla jazz, psychedelia, and electronica. Their eclectic, self-titled studio debut (2022, Coastline Northern Cuts), as well as the highly energetic live performances, have earned the band a place in the line-ups of major Polish and European festivals such as Eurosonic (NL), Off Festival (PL), Tauron Nowa Muzyka (PL), and Fusion Festival (DE). Since its founding, Klawo has played more than 50 concerts in 9 countries and is considered one of the most promising young acts on today’s Polish alternative scene.
