Kloud

Kloud is a Minneapolis based all-female punk trio that specializes in aural pleasure and awkward stage silences. This is their debut album, which consists of tracks written and revised over their first two years together. --- Originally a 5 piece group, Kloud is now a punk trio fronted by founders Kaylee Valerius and Danimae Janssen. Kirsten Ruge joined the band on drums in early 2017 - her arrival solidified the band's previously fluid core identity and sound, prompting the first steps towards and ultimately the completion of the Kloud's first full length studio album, "This Beautiful Mess". The album addresses socio-political and emotional topics ranging from transgender rights to race and social commentary. The release of this album is summation of Kloud's dynamic history and marks the beginning of a new direction for the band.
