This instrumental indie/Jazz deep dive took shape towards the end of Øyvind Kløves masters at the Norwegian Academy of Music. With a newfound urge to make something singular and uniquely his own, Kløve decided to look inward and explore who his true musical-self was. Staying true to roots of jazz and experimental music, a large piece of the musical pie ended up being Indie music with an Americana slacker vibe. At the heart of it all is Kløves poignant melodies that somehow feel like forever ago and new all at once, and is truly appealing both to your alt-rock dad and your kid on the drive home from school.
The musics undeniable beauty also lies in an absolute stellar band composition of some of Norways finest and youngest players on the Norwegian scene. Both in the studio and live the band show up always forward leaning, and completely effortlessly.
