knifebloom is a four-piece emo/post-hardcore band from upstate South Carolina, blending emotionally charged lyricism with the dissonant, nostalgic grit of early-2000s and 2010s alternative music. Drawing influence from artists such as Silverstein, Fall Out Boy, Citizen, and Movements, the band channels a sound that leans into tension, melody, and raw vulnerability. Their music threads together the energy of post-hardcore, the catharsis of emo, and the shadowy tones of grunge, creating something familiar but unmistakably their own.

Formed in 2024, knifebloom quickly began carving out their identity in the regional scene. In 2025 they released two EPs—Stained Glass and Getting Worse—each showcasing an evolving dynamic between emotional intensity and jagged, melodic instrumentation. As the band continues writing their debut full-length album, set for release in spring 2026, their sound is pushing into darker and grittier territory, marked by heavier atmosphere and sharper edges. A new single, arriving around the start of the year, offers the first glimpse of this next chapter.
