Born George Adu-Boahene Jnr, Kobby G is a product of the Presbyterian Boys Senior High School (Presec, Legon) and Central University with a degree in Business Management. Up until October 2017 he was a TV presenter and producer with Accra based Metropolitan Television. After his stint there Kobby G decided to go into music full time. Kobby G a.k.a the Viking is a rapper but dabbles in other genres like dancehall and afrobeat. His inspiration comes from everyday life and his sound is influenced by a lot of new school Dancehall and oldschool rap. He's truely a versatile artiste who hopes to enthral the world with his numerous styles and melodies.
