Blasphemously baptized a Mountain Baby by his Mountain Mamas, Krause was doomed to a life of song slingin' and folk singin'. Some people say the first two records he ever heard were Leadbelly and the Village People. Some people say the first song he ever sung was Schubert's Erlkönig. The truth is, no one knows why Koda's music sounds the way it sounds. We're just glad it does.
