KOFĒSHOP

The story of KOFĒSHOP starts exactly where you would expect it to...in the back of a coffee shop with two brothers and a Casio keyboard. Fredrick and Hans spent most of their days in the kitchen taking turns playing on an old CPS-201, seeing who could come up with the catchiest melodies. They would often take their melodies out to the coffee goers to see who’s was better. Their mother, a waitress at the shop, would shoo them back into the kitchen.

They quickly gained a reputation for this in their small Scandinavian fishing village as people would start coming for Coffee and their eccentric music. They soon evolved their small melodies into full productions which led them to making custom tapes that at first, were only played in Kafé Johan. Soon you couldn’t go to any café in Smögen without hearing the sounds of Fredrick and Hans.

Their love of American music would set them apart from everything else heard in the village. Nas, Stevie Wonder and Charlie Parker just to name a few. They often had to sneak a listen because their mother was very traditional!

Now living in the states, they are starting to release music under a name that goes back to their very roots. So turn on a relaxing cup of KOFĒSHOP and get the good vibes brewing.
