Kohma is an artist from Eastern France, deeply influenced by the rise of the 90s dance and techno movements. Immersed in this cultural wave, he discovered electronic music, a passion that would continue to grow over time.
At the age of 9, he began experimenting music production on the family computer, using Magix Music Maker and eJay. What started as playful exploration gradually developed into a real vocation, which will find new momentum in adulthood thanks to the creative possibilities of Ableton Live.
In 2018, he spent a year in the United States, where he embarked on a cross-country road trip and fully immersed himself in music production. The experience opened him to a wide range of influences, drawing inspiration from the richness and diversity of the American culture.
His musical influences range from deep house, afro house, techno, and melodic house, shaping a distinctive sound and artistic identity, with a pronounced attraction to artists such as Rüfüs du Sol, Adriatique or even Keinemusik.
In 2025, Kohma makes his debut on streaming platforms with the release of his first original track: “Ama01”. This afro house project blends ethnic percussion with deep house-inspired harmonies, all driven by an atmospheric and hypnotic piano.
