Extreme Metal project from Montréal, Québec.
Originally called "Viral Encephalitis" as a solo project from 2005 to 2013 and reformed as a new project in 2014 by the multi-instrumentalist Éric Tremblay-Desbiens and drummer Simon Lacourse. The french-canadian duo began jamming together around 1999, during the 00s and 10s, they forged a sound that eventually gave birth to kokophrolic. After this point of no return, the compositions will become different from the beginning by relying on drums improvisations with technical abilities, destructive riffs, percussive drumming, melodic solos and creative guttural vocals.
