Koloma is a Tipra folk fusion band hailing from the hills of Tripura. Founded in the Year 2014. Koloma’s music is inspired by the folk music of Tripura blending with elements from genres be it blues, reggae, folk, indie pop, rock. Koloma bids to preserve their Languange “Kokborok” which is getting silent in the regime. And thus songs are written in their native language Kokbork. After releasing out two of the albums “Mwrwi Mwrwi” and “Kothoma” which have been well received throughout the Nation and people across the world. Koloma's songs mostly describe the beauty of nature, about changing seasons, the rich endangered culture and lifestyle of the hills also the contemporary romantic life.
