Slovak punk legend KONFLIKT, winner of the Aurela Award 2006 (Slovak Grammy) for best album in the HARD/HEAVY/PUNK-ROCK, has been active for over 35 years. The band has played over 2300 concerts across Europe and shared the stage with such world-famous bands as: Iron Maiden, Slayer, Sex Pistols, Soulfly, The Offspring, Die Toten Hosen, Misfits, Toy Dolls, Cavalera Conspiracy, Alice in Chains, UK Subs, G.B.H., Craddle of Filth, Limp Bizkit, Ska-P, Lordi, The Exploited, Napalm Death and many more. The band’s leader was the main organizer for 7 years of Punk Island, the largest underground festival in Slovakia and in 2000 he released the compilation album “Punk-rock made in Europe”, where 23 bands from 20 countries performed.
KONFLIKT have released several albums (the album Sapere Aude achieved gold and platinum status), EPs, Videocassette (1998) as well as the DVD Konfliktology 1990-2007. The band’s songs have been released on various compilations around the world from Malaysia to Turkey to Canada,USA.
