Kofi Kusi, known as Kookusi, is a Texas-based Ghanaian rapper, songwriter, and storyteller who transforms mental health into music, poetry, and film. Drawing from his background as a pharmacist and neuroscience researcher, he creates cinematic concept tapes where each track is a chapter in a larger narrative. His debut EP, 5foot3, set the tone—using vulnerability to spark conversations on psychosocial struggles. In 2024, he followed with Addicts Anonymous, a therapy-session-themed project where each song told the story of a different addiction.
