<a href="spotify:artist:1HkSjS5rzNg402IoG8RlEp" data-name="Koosje">Koosje</a> is a singer-songwriter from the Netherlands. She emphasizes neo-soul, folk influences, r&amp;b riffs as well as lush jazz harmonies and vocal freedom.

Koosje was born in a theatrical family: her dad is a director and her mom a drama teacher. She was only 11 years old when she started off with acting lessons and she participated in plays, operas and musicals when she was barely 14. She performed with artists like <a href="spotify:artist:0InPKJ21u1TMt0hzF1Y4wz" data-name="Colin Benders">Colin Benders</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1aVONoJ0EM97BB26etc1vo" data-name="Steve Reich">Steve Reich</a> &amp; <a href="spotify:artist:6oXieOD3dHfCCmmy96W2eR" data-name="Gwilym Simcock">Gwilym Simcock</a>.

<a href="spotify:artist:1HkSjS5rzNg402IoG8RlEp" data-name="Koosje">Koosje</a> studied acting for a brief year, went to the Conservatory of Amsterdam to study Jazzvocals and finally ended up at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague.
She graduated in 2016 receiving a 10 (with distinction) for her final singing exam and she developed as an arranger, composer and conductor.

She played her release show in TivoliVredenburg.
