Kevin "Koovy" McLachlan is a singer/songwriter from Whitehorse, Yukon.
MOST RECENT RELEASE - PART-TIME LOVED November 16th 2023
He has released four original albums Small Town (2017), Moments (2018), The Promise (2020), Coming in to Peace (2021), and performed his original music all across Canada.
Koovy recently performed his original music in Austin, TX and Bentonville, NWA as part of The House of Songs an international songwriting organization, and in Vancouver, BC as part of the Just for Laughs NW Festival.
He also most recently performed 3 sold out shows in Chemainus BC in October 2020 as part of his live recorded album release for 'The Promise' under the name Koovy available on all streaming platforms.
His songs have garnered radio play in both Canada and the USA.
His fourth album 'Coming in to Peace' by Koovy - a collection of voice memos from the road, is now available on all platforms as of March 1st 2021.
He is also known for having started the Sheridan College Coffee House - a monthly open mic that’s been running for the past 9 years.
Koovy is currently performing his music in a brand new one man show at the Shaw Festival called "The Troubadour" a secret theatre performance for audiences of the Shaw Festival in Niagara-on-the-lake. Troubadour runs four times a week from June 2023 - October 2023.
