korekara, a Japanese word meaning ‘from now on’, was picked as our band name. Of course, we got tons of names at first but this word kicked everything else aside as it is the beginning of our favorite song. So why not? korekara contains two of the opposite poles together since we’re both quite different in terms of music and somehow our lifestyles also. One likes Pop. Another one likes Indie. Which of that, it was really hard for us to find our middle point but that’s what makes us who we are. Yet, we have one common like, Japanese music. We both love to listen to Japanese songs although the genres are rarely alike but at least we like the same thing. So we came up with the idea that our songs should have a glimpse of Japanese aesthetic somehow whether it’s a melody or the instrument or even the lyrics. And to be honest, we’re still figuring out our genre because who knows what will happen in the upcoming songs right? Anyways, hope you enjoy our vibes!
