Korobu

Based in the infamous Bologna skank bloc, Korobu are Gianlorenzo De Sanctis, Christian Battiferro, Alessandro Rinaldi and new member Pablo Quirici. They have been carrying on a mix of indie-rock and dark psychedelia, retro-futurist electronica and in-studio experimentation for years.

They debut in April 2022 with 'Fading/Building', an album published by Locomotiv Records that allows them to be welcomed in the vibrant Italian underground community as one of the most interesting bands thanks to the strange mix of kraut-rock rhythms, exotic flourishes and post-punk minimalism that characterizes it.

Born from the epilogues of bands such as Buzz Aldrin, Hvsband, My Own Parasite and Fiumi-Fewme, they are now preparing to release their second album 'K for Key' again on the Bologna-based label Locomotiv Records. Their second album highlights a further leap, shifting the focus from the magic created in the studio to emotional musicianship and human connection with an intriguing mutation of alien pop, art-rock, electronic experimentation and dark-wave.
