Kosmik Band

Kosmik Band. A spiritual music fusion of World Mantra’s, African rhythms and Latin grooves. An experience of epic proportion, transcending culture and boundaries that brings an awakening of life to audiences around the globe. The band's first steps were taken in the 2000s, when Enzo, inspired by a spiritual retreat he had attended in India, took on the challenge to turn the "slow and contemplative" mantras he learned into "something people could dance to". In 2009, that mission became a project, initially called La Oneness Band, that stood in the intersection between Indian transcendence and the sounds of the latitudes Enzo discovered, as music producer of Playing for Change, a social action institution with which he traveled to countries such as the Democratic Republic of Congo, Jamaica, Cuba, Senegal, or Mali. After meeting singer-songwriter Nanan, in 2019, Enzo realized he had a new band in his hands: Nanan brought the "Brazilian magic touch" to the musical identity he had been chiseling over the years. The band's debut album Tudo Está Bom was named in Portuguese as "a tribute to this cosmic encounter with Nanan", who "uplifted the band", according to Enzo.
