Kossatot

Kossatot is a Progressive Groove Metal Band that formed in the Arkansas Local Music Scene in late 2011. Featuring: Jon Coleman(lead Guitar, Vocals), Kris Brown(Bass), Nick Alber(Drums), Bryce Sebo(Guitar). Following an extended hiatus and several line up changes, The band began working in 2017 again with all 3 original members. This time though, Jon Coleman, Switched to doing lead vocals with Kris Brown and Nick Alber Coming in for the Backups. In late 2018, They Knuckled down and punched out an 8 song demo, which was Released on YouTube in the same year. In 2019 the demos hit streaming platforms. Kossatot quickly began work on their second 2019 release, The Green Ep. On September 13th, 2019 The Green Ep was released and the band began touring in support of it. In Fall of 2019,and halfway through the Stoned on the Road tour, Kossatot began to record their freshman release. Facing the troubles of 2020 and the out break of Covid-19, the band would find themselves stuck with a huge workload. Arrival...Welcome To Hell would offer 18 tracks of metal, rock, experimental, and even elements of electronic music. With a better understanding of audio engineering, the band embarked on recording all 18 tracks themselves. Proving a difficult challenge, the recording process would take almost 11 months. the album would come out and not sound the way the band wanted. The band would then take a 5 year break before releasing their first single for their next record in 2025.
