Born in Ashford, Kent and raised in Hawkinge, Krafty began making music in the early 2000s with nothing more than a karaoke machine, cassette tapes, and two microphones. Those DIY beginnings shaped a career defined by authenticity, clever wordplay, and heartfelt storytelling.
His first official release came in 2011 with I Wanna Get Signed, followed by his 2013 debut album Not For Resale. Since then, Krafty has built a catalogue of introspective lyrics, playful braggadocio, and infectious hooks, blending vulnerability with cheeky confidence in a way that makes his sound instantly distinct.
Beyond his solo work, Krafty founded Monumental Records — originally to release his own music, but soon expanding to support artists like Mic.B, K-Saulz, JackPot, Sneek, and his duo project Excelsior with singer Gemma Louise. The label became a creative home for voices outside the mainstream.
Though he’s performed across independent venues and universities, Krafty has never chased fame or traditional touring. For him, music is about passion and connection, not the spotlight.
Having overcome personal battles with violence, addiction, and failed record deals, Krafty now channels resilience into his art, sobriety, and fitness. His journey is one of perseverance and self-discovery — proof that for Krafty, it has never been about hype, but the heart of the music.
