During these years, Kraig wrote music, made music, and was always singing and playing guitar. Once his professional hockey career was over, he really stepped up his game in the music career opening up for bands like ZZ Top, Nickelback, The Beach Boys, B-52s, Huey Lewis, The Tragically Hip, and many other big artists, all with his band “9 House” including drummer Tony Zangoli, bass player Jamie McDowell, lead guitarist Brian Joyce.
